The PM II and Competition riflescopes are offered with various versions of elevation and windage adjustment turrets. The turrets are devided into Gen I and Gen II turrets. Gen I turrets are still state of the art and are proven by police and military units around the world for decades. However, Gen II turrets reflects the ongoing technical and mechanical evolution and therefore incorporates more detailed technical features. All of these options are categorized via an abbreviation system which is explained in the dropdown called “Functions (Abbreviations)”.

Functions (Abbreviations)

MTC = More Tactile Clicks

MTC features a more pronounced click at every tenth click. This function supports faster dialing and better orientation especially if you cannot look at the turret.

ZC = Zero Click

This turret has a more noticeable click on the engraved “0”. This allows a quick return to the “0” position even without looking at the turret.

SZC = Sub-Zero Clicks

Sub-Zero Clicks are clicks which are below the engraved “0”. This allows for quick reaction without re-zeroing to weather conditions like air pressure or if your POI has changed due to the use of a suppressor or night vision device.

CT = Capped Turret

CT features the possibility to install a cap on top of the turret via a thread in order to avoid accidental adjustments.

LT = Locking Turret

Gen I: The locking action is triggered by pulling up the outer ring of the turret, and it is set by pressing it down again. A lettering “LOCKED” in red appears behind the ring and indicates the locked position.

Gen II: Elevation: DT II+ and MT II incorporates a three-way mode lever which determines either: activated MTC, deactivated MTC and locked turret. With the mode lever pointing towards the barrel’s muzzle, the turret is in the locked position and the mode window at the turret bottom appears in red color. With the lever rotated one position counterclockwise, the turret is unlocked and allows for the More Tactile Clicks (MTC) function which is indicated by the color green in the mode window. With the lever rotated to the final position counterclockwise, the turret is unlocked and bypasses the MTC feature. Now the mode window shows the color black. ST II and ST II-B incorporates a mode lever which locks or unlocks the turret. When the mode lever is pointing towards the barrels muzzle the mode window at the turret bottom indicates with the color red the locked position. The color green indicates the unlocked position when the mode lever is turned towards the magnification ring.
Windage: ST and DT II+ incorporates a mode lever which locks and unlocks the turret. When the windage turret is unlocked the Zero Click (ZC) is automatically activated. Both windage turrets work basically the same way as the ST II and ST II-B elevation turrets explained above.

The turret can then be protected from accidental adjustments by installation of the cap. Marks and numbers are in MRAD. The number “1” is standing for 1 MRAD which is 10 cm/100 m and is accompanied by either an engraved “L” (= Left) or “R” (= Right) for clearly indicating the direction of turning.

Available for: 3-21x50 Exos, 5-45x56 PM II High Power and PM II Ultra Short Series

ST MTC LT (Ultra flat, elevation)

ST MTC LT (Ultra flat, elevation)

Ultra flat lockable (LT) Single Turn (ST) elevation turret with More Tactile Clicks (MTC) function for 1-8x24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC

This ultra flat Single Turn turret enables shooting with two eyes open and is perfect for an additional piggybacked aiming device such as a red dot sight. Marks and numbers are in MRAD. The number “1” is standing for 1 MRAD which is 10 cm/100 m. This turret features the Generation I (Gen I) locking function.

ST II LT (Elevation)

ST II LT (Elevation)

Lockable (LT) Single Turn II (ST II) elevation turret with Sub-Zero Clicks (SZC)

The ST II turret represents the largest adjustment range Schmidt & Bender offers for a hunting riflescope. Therefore it is perfect for long-distance hunting. It is designed to be easily operated in extreme temperatures from +70 °C (158 °F) to –40 °C (–40 °F), even with thick gloves. Furthermore, the “Zero Tolerance Clicks” from Schmidt & Bender with either true cm or MOA click value are all manually adjusted by our professional technicians. By doing so we guarantee the upmost precise performance. The accurate turret repeatability is ensured by the Schmidt & Bender unique “S-Spring Technology”. This Single Turn turret design is capable of 15 MRAD. Marks and numbers are in MRAD. The number “1” is standing for 1 MRAD which is 10 cm/100 m.

This turret is also available with MOA click value and is capable of 37,5 MOA. For better orientation the MOA version has only marked the even numbers. The number “2” is standing for 2 MOA. 4 clicks each are coming up to 1 MOA.

Both versions are equipped with 4 Sub-Zero Clicks. It features the Generation II (Gen II) locking function.

Available for: 3-21x50 Exos

ST II ZC LT (Windage)

ST II ZC LT (Windage)

Lockable (LT) Single Turn II (ST II) windage turret with Zero Click (ZC)

This Single Turn turret is developed for dialing wind on a regular basis as it is the case when shooting competitions. Therefore big and well recognizable digits makes dialing and orientation easy. Marks and numbers are in MRAD. The number “1” is standing for 1 MRAD which is 10 cm/100 m and is accompanied by either an engraved “L” (= Left) or “R” (= Right) for clearly indicating the direction of turning. Lockable (LT) Double Turn (DT) elevation turret with visual and tactile revolution indicator, More Tactile Clicks (MTC) function and Sub-Zero Clicks (SZC)

This turret was awarded with the PSR (Precision Sniper Rifle Program) contract. It is due to its shape very operable. Even when using gloves, you will be able to read the turret engraving: the number “1” is standing for 1 MRAD which is 10 cm/100 m. It also features a visual and tactile revolution indicator that appears on the top of the turret during the transition to the second revolution. The turret is capable of 26 MRAD, in the 3-27x56 PM II High Power even 34 MRAD and provides 5 Sub-Zero Clicks (SZC). It features the Generation I (Gen I) locking function.

MT (Elevation)

MT (Elevation)

Multi Turn (MT) elevation turret with visual revolution indicator

This Multi Turn turret is an exceptionally clever design and represents an easy-to-read rotational indicator setting. Each marking represents a click value of 0.25 cm which is the finest click value adjustment offered from Schmidt & Bender. Consequently 4 markings add up to 1 cm whereas only the even digits are engraved for better orientation. One entire revolution adds up to 35 cm and the 2 dots next to the number 35 indicates the second revolution. This system provides perfect orientation all the way until the fifth revolution. In addition, the turret counts the revolution by displaying the corresponding revolution in numerical fashion 1 to 5 in the window atop. This enables the operator to keep track of the elevation’s revolution count while in crucial competition situation.

Available for: 12-50x56 PM II
